About Zona

Zona Yuechen Guan is an interdisciplinary artist and photographer working between New York and Shanghai. Drawing from movement, visual design, and cultural observation, her work explores identity and personal narrative within contemporary global culture.

Zona’s work has received international recognition across interdisciplinary design and photography, with honors from the iF Design Award, A’Design Award, MUSE Design Award, Graphis, and the International Photography Awards (IPA). Her work has been exhibited at institutions including Chi K11 Art Museum, Sojourner Gallery, and SVA Gramercy Gallery, and is held in the permanent collection of the Mood Museum of Design in Italy.

Her practice has been featured in Harper’s Bazaar, ELLE, the Associated Press, and Artron Art, among other media. She graduated from the School of Visual Arts (SVA) with a Bachelor in Design and a Master in Digital Photography. Beyond her studio work, Zona leads artist-centered and cross-cultural initiatives that support emerging creators and foster dialogue between China and the United States.
